Montezuma Oropendola Psaracolius montezuma

Among the most prominent of birds in Laguna de Apoyo Nature Reserve, Nicaragua, is the Montezuma Oropendola. The bird nests in large colonies, with many sock nests hanging from a single tree.

The environment of Laguna de Apoyo is natural and nearly unspoiled.

 

Sciurus variegatoides
