The GAIA program at FUNDECI promotes rural development in harmony with the
wild natural resources of Nicaragua. Our office is located at Estación Biológica in Laguna de Apoyo Nature Reserve, where
we operate the Biological Research Station and Hostel "Proyecto Ecológico", and direct scientific research, conservation of
wild natural resources, sustainable tourism, education and community organization activities in Nicaragua.
You are invited to visit us on the shore of Lake Apoyo.
